HIGHLAND HILLS, Ohio — An 11-1 run late in the first half essentially put the game away as Cuyahoga Community College beat Jamestown CC, 72-60, in NJCAA Division II men's basketball Tuesday.

James Anderson, James Graham, Leonard Cotrell and Kenny Coleman each had 12 points for the Triceratops (6-1, 1-0 Region XII), who led 41-25 at halftime.

Jared Fish led the Jayhawks (4-3) with 16 points and Chris Robson added 10.

"In the second half, we didn't rebound the ball as well as I would've liked,"Jamestown CC interim head coach Xavier Churnac said. "Once again there were flashes of us doing good things. … We just have to get better each day."

The Jayhawks return to action at 7 p.m. Monday at Lorain County CC.
