JAMESTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) hockey team hosted its home opener of the inaugural season on Saturday night at Northwest Arena.

Before the game, JCC President Daniel DeMarte, Assistant Athletic Director Ashley Lund, and Dave Leathers and Kristy Zadbrodsky, co-chairs of the Jamestown Center City Development Corporation's (JCCDC) board of directors, took part in the ceremonial puck drop.

The four, as well as countless others, have been extremely instrumental in creating Jayhawks' hockey in 2024.
