JAMESTOWN, NY - The rink was pink, the goal light red, and the scoreboard green and gold as Jamestown Community College (JCC) cruised by Mercyhurst 6-2 inside the Northwest Arena on Pink the Rink night.

JCC jumped on the scoreboard early on a goal from Cooper Bergman in the first period to open an evening filled with tallies.

The Jayhawks' Nathan Sercu scored the third of the game, which ended up being the game-winner in the second.

Along with Bergman's pair of goals and Sercu's one score, goals by Coleson Barber, Brandon Smith, and Raymond Embler. Defenseman Spencer Bell led the way in assists with a pair of helpers. In net, Collin Norlander stopped 17 of the 19 shots he faced.

The win moves JCC to 5-3 on the season, including winning four of their last five.

Next up is another home date, this time with Penn State Behrend inside Northwest Arena on Saturday, October 26th, at 7:00 PM.
