OLEAN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) Valorant team had a rematch against Northern Virginia Community College, looking to rebound from their previous loss to the Nighthawks.
The Jayhawks found themselves up late in Game 1, with a 9-7 round lead. However, the Nighthawks had a big rally and went on to win Game one 13 rounds to 9.
Unfortunately, momentum never swung back in our favor and the Nighthawks cruised through Game 2 to win the series with a dominate 13-3 win, 2-0 overall.

Final match stats would have total kills for the Jayhawks at 111, 148 for Northern Virginia. While JCC led in bombs planted (21-13), they were not able to get any defuses, while the Nighthawks were able to defuse 10 of JCC's. 3 Jayhawks would end the game with 26 kills apiece (Joshua David, Caleb White, and Shawn Carpenter). Shawn would lead both teams with 10 bombs planted, nine of which were in the competitive Game 1.
With the Loss, the Valorant team falls to 1-2 on the season.
