The squad then hit the track of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, where both Pattie and Allie had some one-on-one races.
Allie opened the night with a best-of-7 race against Seward County Community College. Allie came close to stealing a few races, but unfortunately the Saints were able to take a 4-0 win in the series.
Pattie had a best-of-7, one-on-one series with Danville Area Community College. The races were competitive, but ultimately Dansville took a 4-0 series win.
With the losses, both fall to 0-3 on the season and will look to rebound after the Thanksgiving break.
Lastly was Valorant. The Jayhawks (2-3) officially started a streak with a win over Monroe College (4-1).
In their best-of-3 series, the Jayhawks came out on top of back-to-back double overtime matches by scores of 14-12 to win the series 2-0.
Siblings Nate and Shawn Carpenter tallied 24 and 36 kills in the wins, respectively, while Nate led all players with 10 bombs planted and 22 assists.
Caleb White would have 39 kills in the match, a season high for him, and sealed the deal in Game 1 by winning a 1-on-3 and getting the bomb disarmed in time.
The Dirty Birds (3-3) are off next week for Thanksgiving and look to keep the winning going as part of the postseason's single elimination tournament starting December 5th.
