CHAUTAUQUA, NY - Jamestown Community College (JCC) hosted its Region 3 golf invitational on Friday, with special guest Mother Nature. The Jayhawks welcomed the other eight regional golf teams to Chautauqua Golf Club under some adverse weather conditions.
The Jayhawks finished eighth in the event with a team score of 381, their best showing of the young season. Jamestown was led on the course by freshman Cole Johnson, who shot an 89. His best round of the year. He was followed up by sophomore Dan Towell's 91. The other two Jayhawks who made up the top four were Zach Johnson's 99 and Sam Little's 102. Also playing for JCC were Sebastian Tilaro (115) and John Conley (124).
It's a quick turnaround for Jamestown as they travel to SUNY Niagara on Saturday morning.
