CORTLAND, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's and women's golfers took to the course for the first time in 2026 on Saturday, with the TC3 Panthers Invitational hosted by Tompkins Cortland Community College.
It was a near-perfect start for JCC's women's golfer, with Cadence Rogers taking first in the ladies tournament after shooting a 98. The JCC freshman earned medalist honors for her performance.
On the men's side, it was a fifth-place team finish out of nine teams. Another freshman in Reid Olsen paced the JCC men, shooting a 79 to earn a qualifying score for regionals. Joining him in the under 90 group for regional qualifying were Kyler Wojtowicz (84) and Cole Johnson (87). A pair of Jayhawks just missed out, with both Jaxson Fault and Daniel Peterson carding a 94.
It's a quick turnaround for all the golfers as they head to Onondaga for their invite on Sunday morning.
