WATERTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's golf team made it back into the top five of Region 3 play with a fifth-place finish at the Jefferson Invite on Friday afternoon. On the ladies' side, Cadence Rodgers was again on top of the leaderboard with her score of 104.
Jamestown's men were led by Reid Olsen, who shot a 73 to finish tied for fourth overall. Kyler Wojtowicz carded a 78, Cole Johnson an 85, Zach Johnson an 87, and Brody Larson a 92. The trio of Olsen, Wojtowicz, and Cole Johnson all earned regional qualifying scores by shooting 90 or better.
Rodgers' win was her sixth of the season for the Jayhawks.
Jamestown returns to the course on Saturday when they head to the Herkimer Invite at 12:00 PM.
