LITTLE FALLS, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's golf team made it back-to-back top-five finishes in Region 3 play with a fifth-place score at the Herkimer Invite on Saturday afternoon. Cadence Rodgers shot a 101 to take down the toughest competition she had faced all season for the ladies' victory.
Jamestown's top finisher for the men was again Reid Olsen, who shot a 78 to finish tied for fourth overall. Behind Olsen for the Jayhawk men were Kyler Wojtowicz (86), Cole Johnson (85), Zach Johnson (93), and Jaxon Faulk (90). The group of Olsen, Cole Johnson, Faulk, and Wojtowicz grew closer to earning a spot in regions with their scores of 90 or better.
Jamestown is back on the tee box bright and early for the Mohawk Valley Invite on Sunday at 9:00 AM.
