ONIEDA, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) golfers made the trip to the Onieda Community Golf Club to finish up the regular season portion of their 2026 golf season. For the fourth straight week, the JCC men finished in fifth place, while Cadence Rodgers battled to a fourth-place showing.
Reid Olsen finished off the season with a 78, leading Jamestown's men in each event of the year. His 78 was tied for fourth overall in the event. Along with Olsen, JCC's Cole Johnson (88) and Kyler Wojtowicz (80) also earned spots in next week's regional championships hosted by JCC at Chautauqua Golf Club. Behind that trio were four other Jamestown golfers: Zach Johnson (97), Jaxon Faulk (98), Brody Larson (106), and Daniel Peterson (108).
Rodgers shot a 126 on the women's side, placing fourth in their event.
The golfers have a few days off before they return to Chautauqua Golf Club for the Region 3 championship hosted by JCC. There will be a practice round on Saturday afternoon, with competition running on Sunday and Monday.
