Coach Todd Conklin was named the Jamestown Community College men's and women's swimming and diving head coach in the fall of 2019.

Since taking over the program, the women's team has won five national championships, including three straight titles. On the men's side, JCC won its first natinoal championship in 2026.

He's coached six National Swimmer of the Year recipients, with Madison Kramer winning twice, Karianne Yucknitz and Tia Moppert adding one, and Zach Johnson taking it on the men's side twice.

In regionals, he has had five swimmers earn Region 3 Swimmer of the Year, with Kramer again winning a pair and Roaxanne Lothian taking home one and Maxim Johnson and Kyle Dean each winning one for the men.

While at regionals, Conklin has coached 100s All-Region First and Second Team honorees.

Flipping back to nationals, Conklin has placed over 100 swimmers and divers in the All-American ranks.

Todd has been named the national coach of the year by the NJCAA multiple times, including in 2026. He was also named the 2026 Women's Coach of the Year by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

Under his guidance, Karianne Yuchnitz became JCC's first-ever women's national champion, competing in the 50-yard freestyle in 2021.

Todd is a 1995 graduate of Panama Central School and a 2000 graduate of Salem-Teikyo University in Salem, West Virginia.

Conklin comes to JCC after many years at Panama Central School, where he held the position of Head Lifeguard/Fitness Director as well as the Head Coach for both the boys' and girls' varsity swim teams.

He's coached all levels of swimming for over 20 years, including STAR swimming and other various youth organizations.

While at Panama Central School, Todd implemented swim classes/water safety classes for students in grades K-4 and hopes to enhance swimming programs at JCC.

He resides in Ashville, N.Y., with his wife, Andrea, and two children, Jacob and Evan.
