Jayhawks Set Several Personal Best in Harry Anderson invitational

ROCHESTER, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) cross country teams made the trip up to Robers Wesleyan University for the Harry Anderson invitational on Saturday for what is one of the largest invitationals they will compete at, against several NCAA Division 1 and 2 programs.

In the men's race, Carson Dunn ran the 8k in 33:29 placing 226th out of 249. The sophomoe shed 14 seconds off of his personal best time, and cut 30 seconds faster than he ran on this course last year.

On the women's side, Arryanna Bardo ran the 5k in 25:03 placing 160 out of 183. This is more than a two minute improvement from last week, which was her first ever meet.

Aubrey MacDonald made her collegiate racing debut running the 5k in 26:53 placing 168 out of 183.

"All three runners continue to make improvements and we look forward to next week's meet in Fredonia," said head coach Darion Gregory.

The runners take the course at Fredonia State on Saturday, October 4th for their next meet.
