The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks (Div. III, 0-1) traveled to Myrtle Beach to take on the Pirates of North Central Missouri College (7-11). Jayhawks pitcher #18 Mike Wilcox (Falconer, NY) allowed the Pirates one run in the first inning.  At the top of the 5th inning, the Jayhawks tied the game with #11 Justin Forster (Catt-Little Valley, NY) scoring on a triple double from #30 Adam Reece (Stratford, ON). However, the Pirates responded quickly, scoring 3 runs on Jayhawks pitcher #16 Rob Burgess (Westfield, NY) in the bottom of the 5th. The Jayhawks failed to rally and were downed by the Pirates 4-1. The Jayhawks had a triple by #11 Justin Forster (Catt-Little Valley, NY); doubles by Adam Reece and #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Carleton Place, ON); and a single each from #1 Kyle Mayer (Mayville, NY) and #9 Bram Johnson (Jamestown, NY).
