JCC Struggles at #3 SUNY Niagara in Sunday Sweep

SANBORN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) baseball team continues to aim for the elusive upset over #3 SUNY Niagara as they drop a pair to the Thunderwolves on Sunday. 

Jamestown dropped game one 9-1, allowing 11 hits to Niagara while giving up nine earned runs thanks to a pair of errors. Sophomore Luke Larson knocked in JCC's only run of the day with a single in the 1st to give the Jayhawks an early lead before they fell by eight.

Game two saw five errors plague the Jayhawks in their 11-0 loss.

The pair of defeats moves JCC to 8-17 on the season.

Jamestown is back on the diamond on Thursday, April 16th, when they visit Onondaga at 2:00 PM. The Jayhawks return home on Saturday, April 18th, with Onondaga coming to Deithrick Park at 1:00 PM.
