BUFFALO, NY - If you're looking for a team to root for in the NCAA men's basketball tournament, look no further than former Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's basketball player Bryan Hodgson, who is the head coach of the University of South Florida (USF) men's basketball team. Hodgson and his Bulls will take on Louisville in Buffalo on Thursday, March 19th, at 1:30 PM. This is USF's first NCAA tournament appearance in thirty-six years, and it comes in Hodgson's first year as the bench boss.

The Jamestown native has made the game of basketball his life. Playing for the Jayhawks from 2010 to 2013 and earning captain status for two seasons before becoming a coach. After graduating from JCC, Bryan finished his athletic and academic careers at Fredonia State; he also served as an assistant coach for the Blue Devils. The highlights of Coach Hodgson's career are being an assistant at both the University at Buffalo and Alabama before taking the helm at Arkansas State. After guiding the Red Wolves as their head coach, he accepted the same position with USF last March.
