JOHNSTOWN, NY - JCC had multiple chances to bring home a win at Fulton-Mongomery Community College but let one get away as they were clipped 3-2 by the Raiders. Jamestown took a lead late in the first on a goal from Alex Watt (Belfast, Northern Ireland / Campbell College) in the 45th minute. The score gave him 18 goals and three assists in his career, which made him JCC's all-time leader in career points. FMCC tied things up in the 55th minute before Craig Mthembu (Durban, South Africa / Curro Heritage House HS) scored his first goal of the year to make it a one-goal advantage again for Jamestown. It was all FMCC from there as they scored a pair of goals in the next six minutes to take a 3-2 lead, an edge they held to the end. The loss drops Jamestown to 2-9-1 on the year. They need to bounce back quickly with a game at Jefferson Community College Sunday.
