JCC's Dom Malhomme Continues his Soccer Career at Concord University

JAMESTOWN, NY - Jamestown Community College's Dominique Malhomme (Chateauroux, France/Jean Giraudoux) is continuing his academic and athletic careers at Concord University in West Virginia.

"I chose Concord because the coach contacted me and wanted me to join the team. He saw my stats, and I chose them because they are a very good team. They won 15 games last year, and this year they have a shot at nationals. It is a very competitive team. It could be my next step to the next level," said an excited Malhomme.

Malhomme was an important piece to the Jayhawks successful 2024 season, which saw JCC make a run to the Region 3 semifinals.

"To play soccer at JCC helped me to build my skills and resume when it comes to being an athlete," added Malhomme.

The sports management major placed himself at or near the top in many of JCC's career offensive stats. He currently holds the second most goals (25), assists (16), and points (66) for a career, while also setting a new program record in assists in a season with 13.

Malhomme holds a 3.7 GPA in Jamestown, but while his grades are high, he knows JCC was important for him aside from just class scores and athletic accomplishments.

"JCC was the first step for me in my career. It was very helpful for me to help improve my English and see how the college experience and how it works," he mentioned.

As far as his favorite memory as a Jayhawk, despite the final score, Dom was proud of himself and his teammates in their run in the regional playoffs.

"The semifinal game against CCC (Cayuga Community College). It was a loss, but it was our best game we played as a team," he said.

Malhomme and the rest of the Concorn Mountain Lions open the 2025 season in September.
