JAMESTOWN, NY - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) volleyball team opened up their first two sets with Lakeland Community College (LCC) building early leads but ended up dropping both of those sets and the third to fall 3-0 to the Lakers.
JCC captured a 10-9 lead in the opening set, with the serve, before faltering to a 20-11 hole and losing 25-13 to trail 1-0.
Brittany Colon opened the second set with three straight points for Jamestown to take an early advantage before dropping a 25-14 frame.
The third set was the only one where JCC didn't hold a lead, losing 25-11.
This loss knocks Jamestown down to 1-6 overall.
JCC returns to league play on Thursday, September 25th, at 7:00 PM when they visit SUNY Niagara.
The ladies are back home on Saturday, September 27th, for a POD they host with Hudson Valley and SUNY Adirondack coming to the nest.
