JCC Can't Hold Early Leads as They Drop Pair in Home POD

JAMESTOWN, NY - Learning to win is a skill in athletics, and the victories are close for the Jamestown Community College (JCC) volleyball team, but they haven't been able to close the door. The Jayhawks took leads early in sets against Monroe Community College, including 10-3 in set three, but weren't able to finish as they fell 3-0 to the Tribunes, with the sets going 25-15, 25-20, and 25-23.

Jamestown then took on the #2 team in the region and #9 in the nation, Finger Lakes Community College. JCC battled in the first set, falling 25-20, but the Lakers took control after that, winning 25-17 and 25-14.

The pair of losses sends JCC to 2-16 on the season.

Jamestown closes out conference play in the Western New York Athletic Conference tournament on Saturday, October 25th, at 10:00 AM versus Erie Community College at SUNY Niagara.
