Jayhawks take Flight at Adrian Open in Michigan

ADRIAN, MI - The Jamestown Community College (JCC) wrestling team traveled to Michigan for the Adrian Open on Saturday morning.

JCC had three wrestlers take the mat in Shayne Irvin, Evan Leonard, and Brad Smith.

Irvin hit the scales at 157 pounds, where he finished outside of the top eight with a 0-2 record for the event.

Moving up to 174 pounds, Leonard came away with a sixth-place finish after going 1-2.

Smith also went 1-2, finishing eighth at 184 pounds. JCC now has a couple of weeks off before they host the Jamestown Open on Saturday, January 24th.
